These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the ACM MAJU Student Chapter website and services, including membership accounts and the Knowledge Tune-up revision-notes library. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
Anyone may create a free account and join as a Fan. To be recognized as a Student, Alumnus, or Faculty member, you must request the role and upload a valid ID card for verification. You remain a Fan until an administrator approves your request.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
- Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not share your account or let others download material on your behalf.
3. Membership verification
Documents you submit for verification must be genuine and belong to you. Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent documents may result in rejection of your request and suspension of your account.
4. Revision notes & study material
Revision notes and other material in the Knowledge Tune-up library are provided for your personal, educational use only. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute them, in whole or in part, without permission. Ownership and intellectual property in the material remain with its authors and the Chapter.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms the Chapter or other users.
- Do not attempt to scrape, bulk-download, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Content you submit (e.g. event registrations) must not be offensive, misleading, or infringing.
6. Events & competitions
Registering for an event or competition means you agree to its specific rules and to conduct yourself respectfully. The Chapter may amend schedules or details where necessary.
7. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that study material is complete or error-free, and it should not be treated as an official academic source.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Chapter and its volunteers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Sindh.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
