TasteVision AI based Recipe Suggester

AI has significantly simplified everyday activities through intelligent automation and decision-making. In this project, TasteVision, a web-based, real-time AI recipe suggestion system, enhances kitchen efficiency by recommending recipes based on available ingredients. Users can upload ingredient images or browse recipes without image input. The system identifies detected ingredients, suggests suitable recipes, and highlights any missing ingredients required for selected dishes. TasteVision provides a user-friendly interface where users can explore recipes, view missing ingredients, and place ingredient orders when needed. Order placement requires user authentication and allows users to submit required details, after which the system redirects them to their email application with prefilled order information. By integrating AI-based ingredient recognition, intelligent recipe suggestions, and optional ingredient ordering support, TasteVision promotes convenience, reduces food waste, and supports smart, efficient home cooking in line with current trends in AI-driven kitchen technologies.
