LawWise – Smart Legal Assistance 

Access to legal guidance in Pakistan is often limited by high consultation costs, unreliable information, and a lack of awareness about citizens’ rights. LawWise is an AI-powered legal assistance platform developed to make legal information accessible, accurate, and easy to understand for the general public. The system utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI to interpret users’ legal queries and generate contextually accurate responses aligned with Pakistan’s laws and regulations. Through an intuitive web-based interface, users can interact with the AI assistant to seek advice on matters such as property disputes, family laws, consumer protection, and employment rights. The platform is developed using React.js for the frontend and Node.js with Express for the backend, while OpenAI API powers the AI chatbot for legal responses. Firebase/PostgreSQL ensures secure user authentication and data management. Additional features include a searchable legal knowledge base, response feedback mechanism, and user-friendly dashboard. By integrating intelligent automation with localized legal expertise, LawWise aims to simplify legal understanding, promote legal literacy, and bridge the gap between citizens and professional legal services.
