Docspot: Doctors at your Doorstep

In Pakistan access to quality healthcare is a significant problem due to inappropriate infrastructure, travel limitations and the redundancy of digital telemedicine services, Elderly, extremely ill and static patients often face challenges to acquire timely & efficient medical attention due to only video-based online digital consultations , In addition both active and retired doctors face restricted opportunities to completely exploit their expertise , To address these issues this project presents Docspot: Doctor’s at your door step mobile application which connects patients and doctors online with in-home visit services , empowering smooth booking appointments , robust doctor verification , address based matching and real-time service managing along with AI-powered medical chatbot which improves patient support and clinical decisions along with secure management records of patients with in the system. The application has three main portals Patient portal, Doctor portal and Admin Portal. The patient portal empowers registration of patients, booking of doctors, uploading of medical records and access to AI chatbot, the doctor portal allows doctors to create schedules and slots, handle home based request and access to AI chatbot. The admin monitors the system via admin portal and performs doctor verification, fees verification and allowance/blocking doctors and patients The application is built using flutter for frontend, python for backend, MS SQL for database, gemini Api for AI-powered chatbot. As a part of business model, a fee of 500 PKR Per month will be charged from doctor to provide services on the platform.
